Lyndall Brakes, a leader in premium American-made braking systems, is proud to announce the official start of production on its long-anticipated Monolithic wheel—the world’s first truly monolithic wheel designed specifically for V-Twin motorcycles.
This groundbreaking wheel sets a new benchmark in motorcycle design and engineering. Weighing as little as 8 lbs 5 oz, the new Monolithic wheel is lighter and more rigid than anything previously available on the market. Fully forged from a high-grade aluminum alloy, it delivers improved durability, impact resistance, and long-term performance compared to traditional modular wheels.
It features a boltless front-wheel design, made possible by Lyndall’s patented Lug-Drive attachment system, eliminating the need for traditional hardware and reducing potential points of failure. This attachment system has been in use and patented for over seven years and has gone through three years of testing on the wheels.
Performance Tested at Circuit of the Americas
The first article set of Monolithic wheels made their debut at Circuit of the Americas during the MotoAmerica round in Austin, TX. Installed on #88 Max Flinders Harley-Davidson Road Glide, Max Flinders, turned the first laps on this new design and had this to say:

The first time I hit the track I noticed just the flickability was easier allowing me to throw the bike around with ease. Can’t wait for next season just to get back out on those wheels!”
This project has been in the making for three years now - the idea being conceived during the 2022 King of the Baggers season, when Lyndall was the preferred wheel choice for the factory Indian / S&S Cycles team. As CEO Paul Kittrell explains,

Engineered for Harley-Davidson Fitment
Designed with plug-and-play fitment for Harley-Davidson models, this wheel combines effortless installation with serious performance gains. While the initial monolithic wheel release is tailored for Harley-Davidson models, Lyndall Brakes has plans to expand additional sizing and compatibility into other markets in the future.
Built in the USA from Start to Finish
The wheel itself is forged in Southern California, in the same forging house as globally recognized brands. The rest is designed, machined, cut, polished, and tested in Texas, Lyndall’s home state. Making this wheel truly precision forged, turned, and milled in the USA, this innovation reflects Lyndall Brakes’ ongoing commitment to American craftsmanship and cutting-edge design.
